We will release our 2nd album Unyielding on December 26th via Avalon/Marquee (Japan). Featuring new lead vocalist Iuri Sanson (ex Hibria), new Guitarist/2nd Composer Phil Tougas, new bassist Mike Lepond (Symphony X) and showcasing gorgeous artwork hand-painted by Adam Burke, Unyielding goes for the throat. Completely stripping away the progressive elements and keyboard-driven production style of the band’s debut album, the band opted for a more aggressive, riff-oriented approach with occasional speed/thrash influences blended with neoclassical elements, simpler song structures and an even greater emphasis on dual lead guitar/keyboard solo trade-offs. The rawer guitar-dominant production style was provided by Piet Sielck of Iron Savior, whom also provided Choir vocals alongside Yenz Leonhardt and lead vocals on a bonus track. Unyielding is a concept album. Its extensive booklet liner notes describe the saga of a 900-year conflict implicating mankind and all sentient life in the milky way against a formless, all-consuming, omniscient interdimensional entity capable of assembling and controlling non-organic life-forms.
